Julie - #4 is Joe Manganiello who plays the werewolf Alcide in True Blood. He's really really tall if that helps!

Oooooh really enjoying #2 and #4!

It would possibly be #2 or #4, but not quite. I see Rger a little darker with those green eyes.

I'd go with #2 or #4...so, they can go to a tanning bed. But, as handsome as #5 is, he's too vulnerable looking. I picture Roger as hale, hearty and robust looking; the antithisis of the stereotypical historian.

Second thought the photo of Aiden Turner doesn't really do his bad boy side justice. He doesn't look vulnerable on this photo.

In my mind, Roger is always Brendan Hines (from the TV show Lie to Me): http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0385639/

Funny, though, how ALL the choices for Roger (including mine and yours) all are so similar. DG must have done a great job describing him! :D

I can definitely see the first 3 as a Roger Mackenzie...you have good eye!

Aiden Turner is my perfect Young Ian, he can look young, awkward and vulnerable but in an instant can change to a focused hunter. Perfect for Young Ians transformation from lanky teen side character to heart throb Scotman/Mohawk heart throb; thoughtful yet lethal.

Henry Cavill has always been my Roger. He's dark and looks like a pirate, he's 6'1", and I like the chin. Amber Skye Noyes would make a great Brianna, though she's only 5'8".

If I had to choose any of these, it'd be #4. He's got the olive skin and the scowl that Roger often has. I adore Matthew Goode but he's not Roger. Christian Bale???? Absolutely NO! I think we're going to get a Scot, for sure!

Definitely #2 he's just as I picture him when I'm reading

@Louise Rule - I agree but I don't see Henry Cavill committing himself to a long running series when he's now a big Hollywood actor. We need someone with his looks though!
